Hello, and thank you!
Jul. 28th, 2011 09:43 pmThis is my first post. I really created this journal to see what Dreamwidth is like, and am intending to use this as a back-up of some sort in case Livejournal keeps on having problems with downtime and being hacked. Not sure how to import my old LJ entries or whether I can do so or not. Guess this will require research.
Oh, one thing I did not mention in my profile which I might or might not is that I'm blind. Yeppers, ain't that all amazing and inspriational, I can't see a damned thing, so some of the subject matter and musings will be coming from such a perspective, as it is a goodly part of my life and who I am. I know I've set up blogs elsewhere, mostly in blindness-specific communities, but my Livejournal is hte one I've ahd since all of 2003. That's a lot of water as well as data under the bridge. I'll hang onto my LJ for as long as I can as I'm not ready to pick up and move yet, but at least if I have to I ahve a new place to write things. Unfortunately, since I've gotten into Twitter and Facebook, no guarantee as to how often said writing will happen. I suppose I can always kill my acount if I'm not using it. We'll see.
So yeah, this seems to conclude your introductory test post thingie device. Hello, and thank you!
